The 8100 Series Converged Network Adapters support concurrent LAN (TCP/IP) and SAN (FCoE) traffic over a shared 10Gb Ethernet link. The 8100 Series Adapters support full hardware offload for FCoE protocol processing, which frees up the server CPU to perform other tasks like running applications or host Virtual Machines.
